Universities of Bath & Bristol Offer Free Tuition to Asylum-Seekers

We are proud to announce that our university partners, University of Bath and University of Bristol,  have both ratified a new Sanctuary Scholarship scheme for students from asylum-seeking communities to study for free!

The universities will be upholding their titles as 'Universities of Sanctuary' to the highest degree in one of the most crucial times in European history with tens of millions of people displaced.

 Bristol & Hannover 's 75th Anniversary

Join us in congratulating Bristol and Hannover's 75th twinning anniversary!

The partnership between the two cities dates all the way back to 1947, and has since been one of the most fruitful of which for our partners at the Bristol City Council. 

In celebration the City Council welcomed a delegation of their peers from Hannover to Bristol, and the University of Bristol dedicated the planting of a Cornus mus tree in Bristol's Botanical Garden.

The Bristol & Bath Brussels Office wishes everyone a happy Pride!

Looking back on the Pride celebrations across our associated cities, our Office is proud of all our partner's contributions as every single one was present in the LGBTQ+'s support. 

The Bristol City Council and others helped organize Bristol's Parade on the 10th of July, where allies from all over came together in support of the communities.

University of Bristol & Bristol City Council Lead the TwinERGY Pilot

Our Office is proud to announce that our partners, Bristol City Council and the University of Bristol, are leading one of four pilot schemes as part of the TwinERGY EU initiative.

 

The TwinERGY EU initiative is a collaborative EU-funded research project seeking to help local consumers within the energy market, as energy costs rise and cities struggle to be energy efficient.
