Charlotte and Kieran Join the B&BBO

Join us in welcoming two new members to our B&BBO Team, Kieran Crimp-Richardson and Charlotte Greenlees!

Charlotte and Kieran are former and current University of Bath undergraduate students and  will both take on the role of EU Affairs Intern.

 

Together they will help our Office and our partners in undertaking research, managing partnerships, and overseeing EU developments.

The Bristol City Council Contributes to Climate Solutions

In line with Bristol's goal to be climate neutral by 2030, representatives of Bristol & Bath Brussels Office partner Bristol City Council recently participated in 2 major European events with a focus on tackling climate change and the leading role of cities!

Last week, Cllr Kye Dudd, Cabinet Member for Climate, Ecology, Waste and Energy, represented Bristol at Eurocities 2022 in Espoo, Finland, where over 100 cities from across Europe shared ideas and solutions on what they must do to ensure a sustainable future.

Fan of street art? 

Meet UpFest, Europe's largest street art festival. 

Last weekend the event gathered over 250 artists on Bristol's Greville Smyth Park, Tobacco Factory and Ashton Gate Stadium to graffiti various murals around the city.

The event brought artists from across the world, including four from Bristol's twin cities - Bordeaux and Hannover - to make parts of the city their canvas.

Bath Visits Brussels

Recently, the Bristol & Bath Brussels Office had the immense pleasure of hosting our colleagues from our partner organization at the University of Bath in Brussels.

We welcomed Lily Rumsey (Director of International Relationships), Tracey Stenson Jukes (International Partnerships Manager), and Martin Gore (Placements Manager) in our office and attended several fruitful meetings and events with them.
