The partnership between the two cities dates all the way back to 1947, and has since been one of the most fruitful of which for our partners at the Bristol City Council.
In celebration the City Council welcomed a delegation of their peers from Hannover to Bristol, and the University of Bristol dedicated the planting of a Cornus mus tree in Bristol's Botanical Garden.
